Confirmed: Manchester United AGREES DEAL to pay £42m plus key player for Italian figure

According to report coming from Sports Mole, English club Manchester United are set to be preparing an offer of £42m plus Matteo Darmian with the hopes of signing Juventus defender Joao Cancelo this summer.

With Anotnio Valencia set to leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season and Ashley Young being inconsistent all season, the Red Devils will be hunting for a new right-back during the summer transfer window.

United, who have been linked with a move for Joao Cancelo since the winter transfer window, are will to table a bid of £42m plus their right-back Darmian in a transfer deal for the Portuguese defender, according to TMW.

Darmian, who has been lacking game time since the beginning of the season, have link ties to Italian giant Juventus and should be pleased if the United deal pulls through.

Portugal star Cancelo, who joined the Biaconeris from Spanish side Valencia in 2018, has so far registered 32 appearances for the club, netting one goal and creating 8 assists this campaign.
