Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk has been spotted in London amid serious interest from Chelsea.
The Dutch centre-back has told his current club that he wants to leave to join a bigger side this summer and has been a subject of interest from a couple of clubs in the Premier League.
Liverpool were believed to be front-runners in the deal before being warned off by Southampton who threatened legal action if the Reds continue their pursuit of the 25-year-old.
