Real Madrid host Manchester United in an international
Champions cup match played in Santa Clara, California. In
front of 64 000 strong Real will want to kick of their
friendles in style but the opponent will be very motivated
and better prepared. This is a first friendly match for Real
while Manchester already won over Real Salt Lake 2:1, LA
Galaxy 5:2 and reccently 2:0 over Man.City with goals from
Lukaku and Rashford.
ManU will be probably missing Mata threw injury but he is
the most notable absence.
Real will be without Ronaldo who is on holliday while Morata
was sold to Chelse. Now Real is a bit thing in attack with
Bale and Benzema so some of the fringe players will for
sure get a chance.
Real is like a host to this tournament as they are here every
year. They however don`t open this cup with style each
year. In 2014 they lost the first match to Inter on penalties
and the next two as well. In 2015 they lost the first match to
Roma also on penalties. In 2016 they lost the first match to
PSG 1:3. So the lack of preparation might just be crucial in
this match and Manu is showing a good game thus far.
