Singer, Yemi Alade Speaks on Quit Notice on Igbos in the North
Multi-award winning Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has revealed the two major tribes in the country in reaction to the quit notice given the Igbos in the North.
While speaking in reaction to the ultimatum issued by Northern Coalition group ordering the Igbos to vacate the region in three months, popular singer, Yemi Eberechi Alade, simply known as Yemi Alade, said there are only two tribes in Nigeria.
According to the ‘Johnny’ crooner, the two tribes in Nigeria are, ‘The elites and the masses’, adding that there are no gains in tribal disunity but bloodshed.
She wrote: “Dear Nigerians, history has never recorded any gains in disunity. Disunity only lead to blood shed, what are you fighting for.
"Just tribe tribe. There are no gains in disunity #Naija for life," she wrote, adding “The only tribes are ‘THE ELITES AND THE MASSES.’
